I enjoyed interviewing author Gwen Selix, who writes in the

young adult, paranormal, and fantasy genres.  Her books include “Shadows of Pandora,” “Premonition,” “House on the Hill,” “Hunted and Captured,” and “The One.”

When did you start writing books? 

I started back in Junior high and High school.  I wrote a bunch of short stories and novels. I never did anything with them though; I was too afraid and was told I shouldn’t be a writer so I sadly stopped.  I am so glad I picked it back up again.

Who are your favorite authors?

F Scott Fitzgerald, J.K. Rowling, Jane Austen, Shelly Crane, and Mary Higgins Clark.

What advice would you give to new authors?

Never stop dreaming.  Keep writing.  It is the one thing you have to do if you want to be an author.
